And I believe I suggested changing the oil again after you ran it a bit to flush any coolant that may have got into the bearings. That foam you saw is likely just left over for what happened.

Foreign Object Damage The alloys used in a jet turbine is far different than on our puny compressor/turbine blades. The risk of stress (like JJ said) in the blade risers is much more likely. I'd replace the wheel.

I'd just go ahead and get a 190 deg Stant SuperStat and gasket for it. Might as well swap it out when you pull the housing cover off...don't forget to remove the jiggle valve and make sure the hole is at the top ;)
