It could be the mounts- Are the ones bolted to the motor round or square? You want square. AND- as mentioned above- If the motor is out of a Cressida- they used a different oil pan, IIRC. Do you still have the old motor?

Some more questions to those of you that have succeeded: I want to change the button illumination led's(the ones inside the buttons) to white. 1. what is the original voltage to the original green led's? 2. The white led's average about 3.0-3.2 volts required- do I need to swap out the resistors...

A tip- Don't mask off the ribs, hand paint them with a small brush. Way easier.
