If the fuel pump comes on with the key your car is either not stock or damaged. It's also dangerous. That aside if, as you claim, spark and fuel are there and timing is correct the engine has to run does it not? Means you need to go back and look again. And stop abusing your meter...
EVAP purge line.
Edit: Guess I should explain that. It goes to the BVSV on the t-stat housing then on to the EVAP cannister. It's how the engine burns fuel vapor sent from the tank that got stored in the canister. Put another way to prevent HC emissions the fuel system is supposed to be sealed...
Probably a combination of many things, including luck. How long a lamp has been run, how often it's cycled, voltage drop, all effect lamp life. They usually blow when they're turned on because an incandescent filament has a very low cold resistance that results in large inrush current when power...
Yes.
The code 22 is caused by a problem with the EFI coolant sensor/circuit which is not the same one that operates the temp gage. Neither actuate the cold start switch or cold start injector as those comprise an autonomous system. The rest of the diagnosis is correct: the engine is lacking...
I'm compelled to point out the TSRM page referenced is for the GTE system. The GE is different.
PC: Well done. If only everything in Tech Sections were as good...

Well, sorry about that. As I said I used the large size nitrile vacuum caps available from most parts stores. Plenty thick and work fine. Basically the same part as the right side OEM cap but come in different sizes. Never had a problem...
