I'm assuming by "zero" you mean ohms. If so and assuming you're doing it right the sensor is bad. However since that type of failure is unlikely (due to how the sensor is constructed) I'd be double checking my work if I were you...
As an electrical guy I could have a field day with much of that post but all I'll say is in-the-car fuses are located behind the driver's kick panel...
If you think ungrounded coil packs will prevent cranking then being driven insane makes for a short trip. The starting circuit is simple enough. My suggestion would be to break out a meter or at least check the clutch/NSS...
Not necessarily referring to you but there's a reason why that happens. That said since the TEWD shows every pathway of the oil pressure signal it should be very easy to trace...
