someone was selling some SIP cams in the for sale section, cheap. As for valvetrain, I would at least upgrade to Comp Cams Springs, even if you stay with stock cams

A couple of questions about throttle position sensors

and that was.... given my codes(and lack thereof), that "the IDL situation is not as you claim... " I take from this that you're saying my reading of continuity is a mistake, perhaps from contacting the wrong pins, ergo my TPS is fine. Ok- good news. ps- I always forget to ask- do you fly an L39?

A couple of questions about throttle position sensors

As for codes, I have none stored. I will look for codes with a non-idle throttle position. ---------- Post added at 10:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:13 PM ---------- Update. I get the code 51 with part throttle during the code check, but no 41. Are you saying that this means the...

    Is it Overpriced ?

Ditto. But I don't think you overpaid for a 91, Airhead- If it makes you feel better, I paid $5100 for an '88 NA!

A couple of questions about throttle position sensors

    1. How much compatibility among years and engines is there? I see alot of different part numbers floating around; Are they year-specific- AKA- 87-88, 89+, turbo/ NA? 2. I tested and adjusted my TPS per the TSRM. Got it adjusted correctly, however, one check is to see if you have infinite...

    Help with my codes please?

Hey man- Not sure, but i think the's referring to the ABS sensor on the tranny?? We need to get your speedo fixed. As for the IAT sensor- it's the plastic probe that sticks down into the airflow, inside your AFM. Don't use any spray cleaner in there- it permanently kilss the electronics of the AFM.

    Clank Noise Detailed Diagnosis

I have what sounds to be the exact same thing, and i also think it's related to the steering rack. My inner and outer rods are less than 3 years old, and my front bearings are just as recent.

    Rear subframe bushings...

I was wondering if anyone knew the outside diameter of the rear subframe bushing, and also the inside bolt hole diameter. I was thinking about getting some alloy spacers. I jacked up the car the other day, and it looks like i've got almost a half inch of freeplay in the back end's bushings...

    The Notorious 90 Degree hose

true, but you'd have to weld on some fittings. I'm not sure if it'd be long enough to incorporate a section of ss long enough to make the turn, and a hard line wouldn't work too well, as stated previously. ...would be pretty sweet though.

    Another widebody MKIII

Honestly, I don't mind the bodykit at all. But as mentioned, I would get rid of the faux 6-pipe exhaust, and there wouldn't be any Ferarri badging on it. I believe it was called the Testarossa kit at one time, as it uses actual TR front lights in the bumper.

    Norwegian mk3 7M

Not very good driving, but a great build. Maybe you should try using less throttle in the turns, so you save tire, and go faster?

    This or that? Need opinions!!

Interior pieces are hard to find?? no. A dent is easy to fix? maybe. If its in the rear quarter panel it sux. I'd rather have a dent in a replaceable panel imo. As for the interior, what exactly is trashed? If it's the dash, then yeah, that's a pita. Anything else is easy to replace, especially...
