Oh, and to answer your question, the 89-92 Mk3 used the round mounts, yes. I can't confirm if they're the same as the 2j mounts though.

Definitely low. Altitude plays an effect on vacuum too, but I doubt you're too high up in the mountains, surely not high enough to cause that low of a reading.

Grim brings up some good points. My personal experience would suggest that you run an Autocheck, Carfax, etc, on the car before you buy it. Nobody likes a hidden and undisclosed major accident that's been covered up. ;)

Definitely make sure your suspension is setup nicely before you get too serious. I'd be willing to bet that if IJ setup a car for autocross it would give most people a run for the money. ;)

I dyno'd 320rwhp with stock everything but the exhaust, y-pipe, BC264 cams, and porting/polishing the head. This was at 12psi, high 10.x- low 11.x AFR's. On a stock head, 12psi, I figure you'd make 290-300whp. Between the intercooler and increased pressure, I figure you'd be in the 320whp range...
