On the Turbosmart MBC that I have, there is a ball and spring inside the piece that goes between the pressure source for the turbo and the line to the wastegate tee. Took out the ball and spring, problem solved. May or may not work for your particular application. Truth be told I was just...

Plenty of people with Supras in AZ, but they have a horrible issue about getting together and actually coming TO meets. I think the best we ever had was a turnout of like 20 one year. Plus, as much as I hate to say it, all the OG guys in AZ probably can't stand the younger crowd there anymore...

This thread inspired me to mess with my boost controller this weekend. Took out the gate system on my Turbosmart MBC, and voila! Problem solved, pulls a solid 15-16psi at 12:1 afr, roasts the tires at anything above 2/3 throttle in 1st or 2nd now. :D

By the way, it's "AYE-JAY", and take a look through his "Big Shed" thread, you're gonna want to offer up a bit more than that. ;) As far as an engine setup goes, you'd ideally want a very fast spooling turbo for good low end/mid range power. Stock turbos on our cars on any of these engines...

If you have the space, the means, and the time, I'd say go for it. If you're lacking in any of those departments, I'd pass. Having 4 cars and nowhere to put them is a nightmare...
