This is pretty much my answer to the question I always get, "why spend so much on an old car?". All I have to do is ask what 20k gets you these days... blah. But a Mk3 with 20k put into it? Can't even COMPARE a new car to that.
Good to see I'm not the only one who appreciates that. ;)
Man, Nick is on FIRE!
I'll feed ya a freebie though: make sure your hazard switch is plugged in, and your fuse box is wired up correctly. Might not hurt to post in the right section either. ;)
Just FYI, it would probably help your cause to post up dimensions, or get different people to test fit various setups. I can speak from experience in saying that having a JZ and a PWR radiator *really* limits your options because of how thick the radiator is...
Well let's see... had water pumps fail on two cars, belts fail on at least one, head gaskets go on two, coolant pipes/hoses bust on two, etc... they're pretty solid cars overall, but nothing is bullet proof. ;)
You spelling Nazis crack me up... For further reading though:

Always wanted to fit the Mk3 stock setup to the Mk2, do a hub conversion, but have yet to look into it much. Seems like a good option for a 3000lb car. :)
That said, I can also vouch for the ARZ kit, I drove his Mk3 to Vegas and Back in 08. Just because they stop great doesn't make them at all...
If I remember correctly, students are not required to have AZ plates, and if you don't have AZ plates, you don't need to go through their emissions testing either. There's so many students in the valley that I don't think they even hassle people about having out of state plates either. Well...
Speaking of Resident Evil, are they every gonna go back to making these games creepy again? I'd love to see a remake of RE2 like they did with the Gamecube remake of RE1...
You mean this guy? No shit... Talk about ROMANCE! :D
I hear you crazy Canadians do this sort of thing whenever Metallica calls off shows on account of singers being (literally) on fire...
Yeah, learning about other cultures always rather fascinated me. I feel I have a pretty good appreciation for what I've seen of crowded homes, as I had everything I owned stuffed into an ~8x9 room, and now I have a ~1500sq/ft house. After seeing my stuff spread about the house, it's a wonder how...
Figured you'd appreciate a little experience I've collected over the years. For what it's worth, not ONE of my Supras has been 100% reliable and never left me stranded. Fortunately, I was usually close to home. I guess it all depends on your situation. If public transport or friends are an...
Unfortunately the aftermarket follows what's popular. There are probably more 12 second Civics out there than Supras *total*. From a business perspective, it makes sense.
If I were to do a custom setup again, I think I'd fabricate a collar of sorts that could hold one gauge on each side of the...
That's just the car's way of testing a new owner's resolve and dedication. ;)
Wait, your car is yellow? Oh, now I see it... :p
Seriously though, you make a good point. Not all sports cars are friendly for taller or larger people. Had a friend who settled on a new (at the time) Charger because...
