    Time to move on

Where's that "this fucking guy" smiley that's rolling it's eyes when you need it? No offense man, but I don't think I've ever known anyone to actually be able to say "forever" with these cars. Good luck to you in the meantime though. :)

    I miss you guys

About two more years and I'll be cleared up to set aside ~$500/month for a new toy... :D $140k??? :aigo: For an E320? That's S-class money isn't it? Or is yours something a bit more special?

    Planking trend on facebook.

Not another one of these... "On 15 May 2011, Acton Beale, a 20-year-old man, plunged to his death after reportedly "planking" on a seventh-floor balcony in Brisbane, Australia. Beale became the first known casualty of the planking fad." Dumbass... Still... sounds like something I would have...

    Question to the wide-rims gurus

Whoo... that's a low offset. Hate to say it, but I've been putting my feelers out for my widebody setup for the Mk3, and not having much luck finding a set of wheels that will fit like I want in a style I like. -31mm is a HUGE offset... you might have no choice but to go custom. I know CCW can...

HELLO my fellow MK.. Errr Supramania

I'd only argue with you when it comes to a C6, despite my love of C5's... Hey, I'm clean... the car not so much, but I'm careful about what I stick where! EDIT: Just wanting to clarify, not trying to come on to anybody here, realized after I typed that how awkward this thread...

1jz won't move the last inch into the engine mounts

This was my thought, but I'm late to the party. Congrats on getting it in place! :)

    1UZ-FE Turbocharged?

I always get bad ideas about putting one in the Mk2, going with built internals and headwork, ITB's... then I look at my wallet and decide the tired old 6m will have to do for now. :) Friend of mine had intentions of putting a turbo behind each of the headlights... where the air box would go...

    aftermarket coolant resevoir

Does the volume really matter? I would think that as long as you have it as big or bigger than stock, half full of coolant, half full of air, you'd be ok?

    1jz Single turbo won't boost

Hey it's fun until something melts... Congrats man. ALWAYS check your plugs before you put them in. You wouldn't believe how far off "pre-gapped" plugs can be. ;)

    weekly car debate thread.

You didn't see Lotus put a Honda engine in their Elise, did you? ;) I think that it'd be up to the OP whether or not to allow late debate on last week's set, but I have no problem with it. :) As for Integra versus Celica, I've never owned, driven, or even been in an Integra. I like the styling...

    2JZ Solstice Build

Seems it has been canceled this year. Oh well, I probably couldn't have made it anyway. :p For Ian's sake, they were a 170hp 2.4 (blah) and 260hp 2.0 turbo (less blah). :) Keep up the good work guys!

1jz front turbo removal in car...

Guys, just curious if anyone has any tips for getting the front turbo out relatively easily. Problem I'm trying to inspect is the wastegate on the front stock turbo. I believe the clip that holds the actuator arm has fallen off... I vaguely remember doing this when I replaced the y-pipe, but...

Jap style Exhaust - angle or straight fitment ?

I suspect not, given how big our gas tanks are... now if you were to go with a fuel cell, that might be a different story. If you were to move the fuel tank though, why not just run a pipe straight out the right side?

    FML, as they say

Just noticed your car's details in your sig... did your R154 come with your 1j? If so, your transmission might have the speedo gear for the 4.10 Torsen diff. Mine is that way, noticed the speed wasn't quite right for the tire size and RPMs... hope that helps.

    mk3 4 a first car

...and then spin out. :) My Mk2's diff really needs refreshed, it only spins one tire, and it can be downright frustrating getting traction sometimes. LSD makes driving a lot more safe in my experience, at least in snow. Anyway, on topic, I could only recommend such a setup IF you have a good...

    MKIII tow hitch?

I've used my car on numerous occasions to tow other sports cars when they break, the Mk3 makes a great tow car. I have every intention of using it to tow the 7 replica when I get around to building that some decade...

First Time Drag FAIL at Sac Raceway. NEED ASSISTANCE

1.4 60' with a manual Devin? Damn... that's quick. In a Supra??? Must be some GOOOOOOOOD tires to pull that off. The Titanic could have avoided the ice if it had grip like that... That said suprastroker, you're right about where I was last year with my initial run, except I had a ~2.1 60'. Keep...

    Transformers 2011 lol

Doing up another one huh? Been a long time since we've seen you around here man... I suppose a welcome back is in order, even if our tastes couldn't be much more different. :p
