From what I understand, the warning levels can flash alternating colors. Will it do this independant on what color you have the gauges lighting up as?
You just need to tap it on. You MAY have some trouble getting the old pulley off without the tool though. It's a little tempermental regarding coming off straight, especially if it's rusted on the shaft.

You can gain some increases in power and spool by retarding the exhaust cam slightly, I know Ric has some dyno graphs showing it. However, the price for the gains on a stock motor IMO is not worth it. I would suggest investing in a set of cams first. Cams COMPLETELY change the 1JZ.

BTW, I can pull the whole motor out in about the same amount of time as just the tranny, plus I don't have to fight with getting the tranny back in from underneath the car.
That's what I did too, but I cut the -4 down to like a foot and a half or so.
As for the oil drain, -10 line will work. Just get a turbo drain flange, and a 1/2" NPT to -10 hose end to screw into it.

If you want a good camera in your phone, get a Sony Ericsson K790. Has a 3.2mp camera with a mechanical autofocus, and xenon flash. I have one with a 1gig card, and it's an awesome phone.

Oh, I missed the part about the auto ECU, sorry. Anyways, the line should either be grounded or hooked up to 12v. I'm not sure which though. Try grounding it, if that doesn't work, hook it to 12v.
