Not sure I follow the question. It is, as you said, controlled by the servo and closed at max cooling (below a setpoint of 66 F) whether the AC clutch is energized or not.
Is the light blue wire with the white stripe going into pin #2 on the door lock controller like it shows here?

The O2 sensor reported those conditions. The trick is knowing whether it's truth or lie and the best way of doing that is to test it. That can be done either on or off the engine. If lie replace the sensor. If truth you're in for a bigger adventure...
