    Error code 41 - TPS

The code should be there when the TPS is unplugged. As I said open is open. Does that sound like a wiring problem? If those values when subbed cause the code to stop what would be the next logical step? Maybe point the meter at the TPS to see what's different? Looking at how it works does...

    Error code 41 - TPS

It's funny because you say it's the only possible way when anyone with an understanding of electronics would know it's not. And the quote is true.

Bad AFM electronics or something else?

I've helped in every post thus far. You have the same problem with the book: you read but make little effort to understand. It's all very mystifying for a guy who thinks everything to death. Or maybe it's not...

Bad AFM electronics or something else?

While a scope is nice the freq function on any decent meter is plenty adequate. Regardless, one needs to measure the load signal, something he isn't doing. In other words he isn't measuring the AFM. Nor would a trim signal (what he is measuring) cause his symptom or code. I've tried to help...

Bad AFM electronics or something else?

Measure the AFM means exactly that. Why would a bad trim signal cause the symptoms you're seeing? Have you read the TSRM? Do you even understand EFI basics? It appears you do not.

Not gonna make me happy. Not even close. I said actively. And I meant measure the AFM. You might want to stop anal-izing everything and actually learn how the car works...

Bad AFM electronics or something else?

AFM condition aside (it should be actively measured) the engine should rev to 3K with the AFM unplugged. That it does not indicates multiple problems. No surprise there.

Code 11 troubles are back tonight..

^ Yep. Code 11 masks other codes. OP: 11 is not your CPS. I'm pretty sure Mike was referring to your timing issue when he wrote that. Do what 3P said. Or jumper around stuff on the power side. You do know that most meters have a function to find just this sort of thing right?
