same here with my MK2.. took apart old alternators from a 90 celica gt & 95 Camry, made a good one with the MK2's & it runs fine now.

for oxygen sensor buy it off of rockauto.com It's OEM (denso) for way less than any local auto parts store. Code 42... does the speedo cable send signal to the ECU? i doubt it? Waiting for someone to chime in.

I doubt its 52. i would hit 4K rpms with 52 on.. & still boost some. Fuel cut would come into place though.

^ +1 When a CEL appears in ANY car the very first thing you should do is pull the codes.. But it sounds like a boost leak?

I've seen other members coat their pistons. I've never personally done it. But the question would be. Why not? Coating should help against detonation.

Stock pistons are known to Safely withstand 500whp As for the HG there's a sticky on that. look it up. shouldn't be hard to find

Not bad not bad, i saved an MK2 from Rotting.. Sat for 5-6 years... the 5MGE was original, never opened & when the time came to take off the oil pan off, not even crow bars would help.. all the oil pan bolts were off.. It was a complete pain in the ass.. Thats what Penzoil oil does..

I'm in the process of the rewire & i have this question but none of the KS threads have the answer.. Probably a stupid question. Ok in the the write up it says to SPLICE the coax cable conductor into the ks wire 5-6 inches away from the ECU.. Wouldn't it be better if i just cut the KS wire...

how would this "clunk" feel? if i step off the gas it kinda jerks & when i VERY lightly give it gas it jerks again.. That clunk?

why not do it already? It's too easy... I Keep them down during day, & when dark starts coming the fogs go on & once it gets dark enough the headlights go up. & I've learned to appreciate the high beams.

you can pay a machine shop to recondition your pistons & connecting rods along with the crank shaft so you get all the correct size bearings you'll need.

The Tax in Springdale is 9.25% I worked at Sam's Club in Fayetteville (don't work there no more, Soooo much B.S.) They charge 9.25% and there are like 3 or 4 other taxes they charge.
