    3UR-FE swap?

There is always a big enough hammer if you have one or can afford one. ;)

    Howdy

Ahh, your car pees on you as well I see. I have the same problem, but suspect it has more to do with my car getting t-boned a LONG time ago and my failing to notice before I bought it, grumble grumble... As for a fix, if you replace your seals and re-seal the rails on the sides of the top...

smashed on a gti vr6 and a 240sx at the same time

Well there's your problem, unsprung weight is a killer. ;)

    differential question

Yes you can still use that diff. May or may not notice an effect on boost (in lower gears anyway) since higher ratio differentials don't put quite as much of a load on the engine.

    question about slicks

I thought the Mk3 only had a 4.3, and the Mk2 was the one that got the 4.1? To my understanding that is correct.

lol - even the cats are into drifting now!

Some of the better (for youtube anyway) comments: "Fast and the furriest" "Gran Purrismo" Drifting plus cats... I think you may have found the easiest way to distract a kid these days. :p

I'm going to guess 285-300 rwhp, pulling that entirely out of my arse. Good luck!

    Software log or diary

DreamerTheresa has mentioned in a thread or two (might have been linked in my "how to live with a Supra" thread that's in my sig below this) a program that is recommended for exactly this sort of thing.

    New power!!!! 404HP 405ft lbs @ the wheels CT26 on 17.5lbs

I think perhaps you worded better what I was trying to get across. This sort of thing is expected to happen in the pursuit of power, it's always a game of "find the next weakest part in the chain" in my experience. Just a stroke of rough luck man, but like I said, it should be expected when...

    New time 11.81 @ 117 CT26 powered 7M NEW RECORD!!!

Fair's fair as far as I'm concerned, if you're trying to hold a particular record for a certain setup, might as well be on the same terms, right?

89 Supra NA in Anchorage Alaska - Just purchased!

As long as your heater and diff work as they should, slap a good set of snow tires on these cars, and they make awesome winter cars, provided you can drive and don't have to drive through excessively deep snow. I made it home in about 18" of snow one year, that was an adventure. Good thing I...

    question about slicks

Never got into C of any sort (nor any real programming language), about all I knew/learned was hexidecimal programming for using the Gameshark on PS1 haha... Learned something new today. :) He mentioned 4.1, and to my knowledge, torsen was the only diff with that ratio, correct?

Finger VS turbo! WARNING: NWS & GORE

Actually, this makes it even BETTER, at least when done in public. People will think you're REALLY going for glory there!

Whats up Sold supra sad day.

There are a lot of factors there, including "how likely is an XX year old to wreck XXXX car?". I remember pricing out newer Corvettes when I was about 19, just for fun, and surprisingly, the premiums weren't very bad. How many 19 year olds get to even DRIVE cars like that, much less have the...

    Motorcycles - First time buyer/rider

I'll vouch for that. The wind doesn't blow in Wyoming, Utah just sucks and South Dakota blows, so we get caught up in it. Drove 700 something miles from Rock springs, down to Vernal, over to Grand Junction, down to Moab, back up through Price and Vernal on my way back home. All with the top down...

    question about slicks

4.10 Torsen that came in the TT-R? If so, those have the reputation of being the weakest of the Mk3 differentials. However I have no experience with them, nor have I heard of any breaking, so take that with a grain of salt. Worst case scenario, you break it, you have an excuse to buy a Cusco or...

    soooo this is interesting!

Good thing your hands weren't near the headlights... and I hate when people do that. They usually get the nearest tool thrown at them for doing that. JJ, seems it's wired into the stock alarm system, perhaps as a measure to hinder subtle theft by fuse removal?

What does it take to go E85? Advantages/Disadvantages?

Another thing that most people don't see... I wouldn't even mind that so much if I had access to E85 somewhere within the area, but I don't, so I find the whole idea kinda corny... Sorry, I had to. :p
