    Hp and MPG?

At least on my NA auto, I seemed to get better mileage with the trans set on sport. However, this was 90% in town driving, talking a lot of low speed 30-40mph stuff. That's an easy enough fix for the RX8 guys. :)

    no more RSR GTII exhaust?

Eh, there were a couple minor scratches, I don't remember there being any real scrapes or dents though. Was definitely dirty inside (tried to clean it up as best as I could, but you can only get an arm and a rag so deep into it), but otherwise it cleaned up pretty nicely. :)

    Subs in between seats?

Perhaps a custom box that vents to the space right behind/between the front seats? I can't imagine putting anything larger than an 8" at best between the back seats, unless you don't plan on using the rear seats for other things... Cool idea though.

    DaveH personal best

I'm a little jealous of the facilities. My nearest drag strip is 90 miles away, and it's only 1/8 mile. Nearest 1/4 mile is over 200 miles away, as is the nearest track with turns... Odd that we don't have facilities closer, given how many reasonably fast cars are around the area, I never...

    3UR-FE swap?

I forget, are they iron block engines? If so, I'd pass. If they were aluminum and you had a big enough shoehorn, it would be a lot like driving a Camaro SS drivetrain in a proper chassis. :)

looking for a 1jza70 K&N airfilter in origional airfilterbox where to buy??

I'm not sure of any part numbers. You might post this up in the "want to buy JZ" section on the forum, if someone has one, you'd find it in there. :)

Spartan living, or, "How to budget for a Supra project"

Well said, and also true. Also it needs to be considered that these cars tend to snowball into MUCH larger projects than initially thought...

    Motorcycles - First time buyer/rider

So the Ninja 250 is the bike equivalent to a Miata. Everything you need to learn and have fun, but not enough to kill you. :) I actually considered getting a Rebel once upon a time, they were cheap enough to see whether or not a bike was for me.

    RAINING like a MOH-FOH... crispcaptured

I drive in the snow for 6-8 months a year, so rain doesn't bother me in the least. Worst thing about it, at least when I lived in Arizona was the monsoon rains they got. When it comes down hard enough that no matter how good your wiper blades or how fast they go, you STILL can't see very far...

Anyone seen this color MK3 before?

I'm seriously jealous of your dash... I know there are other options, but there's just something cool about 80's digi-dashes. So, since nobody else has confirmed nor denied my posting about potential color code info in the door jambs, should I believe it isn't found there? I know my sticker was...

    no more RSR GTII exhaust?

If I'm not mistaken, that was just for a muffler, not the cat-back system, and he was asking something like $250-300. I sold my catback for $500 sometime in the summer of 2010...

18 Supras for sale in Utah

Mmmmm... rust. Just saying, I've never seen whiter roads, and I don't think it's because of all the seagull poop. :p

    Hp and MPG?

They make one? That's a scary thought thinking how far each gear would go... would do wonders for flat highway traveling.

    Ethical Dilemma - Painting a MKIII 3E5 VS 202

Speaking from experience, I am pretty sure mine WAS 3E5, and the only reason I miss it is because the prep work done when the car was painted was a cheap job. Paint looks alright now, a black sapphire pearl, comes across as blue/black/purple with a hint of red in it depending on lighting. If I...

How much have you spent on your MkIII

Don't feel bad man, the stance and look those wheels gave your car could very well be what makes a difference. Pricey for sure, but they're gorgeous, and fit the car quite nicely. I don't even like 19's, but you've made them work without looking silly. $600 every 3 months? So... $200 per month...

    question about slicks

Yes. Can you still break it? Yes. In most respects the Mk3 was a very over-engineered car... Edit: Which rear end are you speaking of specifically? I've heard less than favorable things about Mk2 diffs when looking into spicing mine up a bit.
