89+ Tail light conversion done. Remove the spoiler?

I've rocked both, wingless looks great IF you have a nice suspension setup. If it's stock, they don't look so great without a spoiler. What's $0.02 worth these days though, it's your car. :)

    Question to the wide-rims gurus

Is it feasible to use a 17" wheel? Tires are generally a bit cheaper and you have a bit wider of wide sizing options from what I've seen...

    2JZ Solstice Build

That's pretty scary... time to invest in a scatter shield? Does the loctite require a curing period before it's good to go? Even loctite red, I'm sure a flywheel/clutch/engine area would create enough heat to render loctite less effective.

Winter's coming, where can I learn to tame my supra?

You make a good point about other drivers too. Sometimes people will do foolish things while driving in poor weather. Their actions will occasionally force YOUR hand. That's where practice will help you, just getting familiar with what reaction you SHOULD have. Sometimes it's best to merely...

Updated PICs of my post Supra BEAST

That's understandable Chris, sorry to bring up a sore spot. :( And Ian's build is enough to make anyone want a Ute I think...

    1jz alternator removal

Make sure your battery is disconnected while you're at it, nobody likes getting shocked when they're pulling the wires off the alt and connect a wrench to ground. ;)

    Cold start High idle

Generally speaking mine idles anywhere from 900-1100 rpm. However, my ISCV is pretty much shot, so it's all mechanical adjustment to get mine to where it will be consistent. On a rare occasion the ISCV decides to work and it will idle about 1300-1400, and it gets COLD here.

Badly rusted spare tire well... cut & paste solution?

If you're into classic iron, this sort of thing is pretty much a pre-requisite to ownership. My brother has welded, patched, and sanded more of his Impalas than I can even remember. End result has come out nicely though. On the subject of patch panels though, if one were looking to make a nice...

    Clear indicators. Yay or nay?

Only downside to doing that on a pre-89 car Aloshan, as I'm sure you've noticed already, is the trim in the center there. Otherwise looks great. :)

    How's Everybody...

Was kinda wondering what happened to you man, your build was a bit before my frequenting on here. Welcome back, and good to hear you're still in (more or less) one piece. I see you never found the one that lets common sense prevail when building a 7m... Been excited to see this thing...

    Driving shoes

I have 3 good pairs of shoes for driving: -A pair of old low-top Vans that I've had since freshman year of high school. Nothing fancy, fairly thin soles, comfortable, but loose. -High top Chucks. Black and white, weigh about 4oz each, they're great, and offer plenty of grip and pedal work...

car break in around long island ny.

Ahh... that kinda changes things a bit. Part that sucks most is I promise you whatever shop it was at has a "we're not responsible for your car other than for the work we were tasked with performing, anything unrelated to that is on you" clause on their sales tickets... Well, good luck trying...

    in home interview?

Bwahahahahahah... Of all the times to see that, this was a good thread to post it in. One would have to be an incredibly dense SOB to apply to be a police officer with an active warrant out... I've known some stupid people in my time, but have you ever met anyone THAT dumb? If so, please...
