zombie supra or bringing the dead back to life.

Hey, they can make great road trips. All 3 Supras I've owned have made at least one, if not multiple trips from Wyoming to Arizona at varying times of year. All three went without any major issues. Partially lucky, partially well planned/maintained... I feel like Zoidberg here, "again, with...

Going to be changing the heater core, just some questions before starting the job.

Makes a good point here, this a job you might want to give yourself a few days for if possible, so that you can do everything needed at the same time. I've taken my dash off twice, and unfortunately going to have to do it twice more when swapping over to the other shell...

If ever there were a reason to play the lottery....this is it.

Time to make buddies with Hugh Hefner. :p

It was bound to happen, and a good move for this company I believe....

No kidding huh? I may have to look into that if the Mk2 ever gets around to being the project. I think there are a couple decent Goodyear options, and most anything that would work for a Miata would work fine for the Mk2 I think. Too bad magnesium isn't used for wheels anymore, would be awesome...

    My new-to-me 92 Civic Sedan

Eh, I've seen far worse tail lights, but stock is where it's at for cars like that. Who's Mk3 is that in the background of that top picture? Doesn't look like yours, unless you have another one?

1JZ Toyota Pickup stock twins Tuned (dyno vids and graph)

Not bad not bad... cross post this to the member's HP sticky thread in the racing/dyno sub-forum. :)

zombie supra or bringing the dead back to life.

If you're expecting 22R reliability out of 99% of Supras, you're going to end up disappointed most likely. Not saying they don't make good road trip cars (far from it, just gotta be mindful of your speed), but if you don't cross your t's and dot your i's, you may end up stranded.

Finally picked up my Volks. Pics inside

I'm having trouble seeing how those scrape... I have 17x9.5, +50, 275/40 all around during the summer, and I don't think my wheels stick out that much. Ahh... you're still on stock suspension it seems? I can see that causing an issue or two. Still, they look good. :)

Going to be changing the heater core, just some questions before starting the job.

Just a word of advice, make sure you get the hoses that go to and from the engine bay on the heater core nipples far enough. Nobody likes unwanted heat and coolant dripping on their feet. ;)

Winter's coming, where can I learn to tame my supra?

Blame all the creature comforts and BS safety regulations. :p $400 for making a bit of noise? That seems a bit excessive... where do you live, so I know to NEVER screw around if I happen to visit. Also might be smarter to do this sort of thing in industrial zones after business hours. Kinda...

What drugs/head injury prompted your Username?

Pretty simple here, my first Toyota was a 1980 TE72 Corolla. Fun car, picked it up for $300, put a new door on it since it was missing a driver side window and it was a cold winter, plus nobody likes sitting in snow... then sold it for $500. Not really a te72 owner anymore, but I figured I might...

It was bound to happen, and a good move for this company I believe....

I would just be happy if I had a chance to buy sticky tires for a 14" these days, to be honest. LOVE the P-type wheels, they're exactly what a sports car needs: light. ;) Unfortunately tire selection for 14's these days is pretty much relegated to passenger car all season junk. Still a few...

My Metro just got totaled :(; Stupid Ford Escapes

This is a good point, no sense in being pissed about what happened that you can't change. Would be nice if you could find a stock-ish CRX to replace the Metro with... For what it's worth, I drove a 94 Cavalier like it was a rally car, daily, for about 5 years. Paid around 2k for it, drove the...

A little bit of camber should fix that sir. Not so much you can't steer, but enough so that it doesn't tear up your front fenders. What are the specs on those wheels?

zombie supra or bringing the dead back to life.

I would leave the seafoam out of the thought process, and start reading up in the oils/lubricants sub forum (http://www.supramania.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?108-Motor-Oil-Lubricants-amp-Filtration), before randomly pouring "magic" bottles in your motor. ;) Welcome aboard, you do have some...

What's the worst car you've ever owned?

Sounds about right, my 2001 SS wasn't much better for wear. I swear you'd take a turn that the car was perfectly capable of, the ride was still smooth, and yet somehow the CD would skip until you stopped having fun driving. Never understood that... damned good sounding headunit for a stock...

    Driving shoes

It takes me a bit to get used to driving when I do it with my boots on. Not used to the fact that my contact with the pedal is 1/2" further away from my foot than normal, and throttle inputs tend to increase for a short bit until I get the feel for them again. :p Kevin, those are the same shoes...

My Metro just got totaled :(; Stupid Ford Escapes

Man am I in the wrong business, I only get $0.55 per mile if I use my car for anything company related... At least you seem to have a sense of humor about it. Sorry to hear though man, stupid fat cars are why we can't have nice things. :(

Bring back the Kaminari 3 piece spoiler???

I was just throwing out a ballpark figure, of course I have no idea what their pricing structure looks like. :) Either way, just having the option would be nice... Can always ask if Scruggs is willing to suggest that to the new owner, get with Shine on it...
