I had the CX Racing kit.... I had all heat shields on. It did no good. & when the valve melts you'll get compressor surge. & authentic Version 1 HKS BOV is known to withstand heat
Heat wrap won't help especially during summer, it'll heat soak.
I went through 3 knock offs then finally relocated my BOV. The heat from the Turbo melts the check valve inside the SSQV. Another local supra owner went through an authentic BOV & he had the real HKS kit.

Heh? i never remember the brake master being difficult to take off & install.. just loosen the brake lines & remove 4 bolts from where it mounts on the booster & voila.
& I never knew it could leak inside the firewall since its mounted on the booster away from the firewall? That'd be a bitch...
Wouldn't hurt to put atf in the power steering resevoir. It'll probably leak somewhere & the REAL ps problem will show up.
as for the brakes, bleed as usual. if that doesn't help. replace the brake master cylinder with an used one or one from the stealership. Reman from autozone, napa...

For 300rwhp all you need is boost controller (12psi ish), intercooler, full true 3" exhaust. Fellow supra owner in the area has all this & dyno'd 301 rwhp. & he doesn't have hardpipes....
He's going to go Lex AFM & 550ccs soon. & I suggested him to go with hardpipes.. Wonder what he'll pull...
