As above really - in 1st or 2nd gear, its fine - above that and i get a vibration, feels like the clutch or driveshaft is out of balance or misaligned - i had the clutch replaced in April and its been vibrating since then - before that, even with a slipping clutch it didnt vibrate. Could it be...

I'm guessing that the surfaces werent perfectly flat before you seated the MHG - looks like its time to get the block and head resurfaced before putting another MHG on it...you using ARP studs as well i take it?

I vote grooved AND cross-drilled, but only if you're spending money on a good brand. Brembo/AP/Black Diamond are the top brands in the UK, followed by the cheaper but still okay Tar-Ox and EBC ones. Grooved and drilled dissipates any dust and gas buildup, preventing hotspots on the disc.

Thermoviscous fans are problematic - and i've just bought an electric fan for mine - much less hassle. At least with Supra's you dont have to use a 36mm thin cranked spanner like i had to on my old Ford Sierra XR4x4 - that was a pain in the ass!!
