    Vibration in 3rd/4th at 1800rpm to 3000rpm

I could have done it myself if i had had a) tools (all mine got stolen out of my van a year or so ago - nice draper greenline socket set :( ) b) somewhere to work on it that wasnt the parking space two doors down from where i lived at the time If only i had the space, i'd re-purchase or hire...

    Vibration in 3rd/4th at 1800rpm to 3000rpm

Hmm the lining up might be an issue - the clutch only cost £399 including all fitting - and it was done pretty quickly. That and this was apparrently the 'first RWD' to have been brought in since 2002 - yes, they're used to Ford Escorts and Vauxhall Astra's....

    Vibration in 3rd/4th at 1800rpm to 3000rpm

It's almost a shame all the good stuff for supra's come out over there - the UK is most definitely devoid of machine shops :( I had to spend 2 weeks trying to find a body shop that was actually related to cars - not healthfood or cosmetics - i hate anita roddick. Grr. Evil woman.

Am i the only one that does this?

Nah i do it all the time. In the last week alone, i've used any excuse to drive my car - despite all its downfalls (faulty fan blower, no dome lights, no electric radio aerial, rotten fender, need for a tuneup etc). I've spent more than $80 in fuel this week - standard 98 octane or E5 stuff...

    Vibration in 3rd/4th at 1800rpm to 3000rpm

Mhmmm - BHG does not cause drivetrain vibration i'm pretty sure. There is no BHG in any case. It's drivetrain related - and i'll get the centre bearing and shaft looked at. If its going to need to be completely replaced - who makes single piece props?

    Vibration in 3rd/4th at 1800rpm to 3000rpm

Nope - not rod knock. Already been ruled out by Darket when he looked at it a few weeks ago - its been vibrating like this since the clutch was changed.

I thought my car was clean, but this thing is incredible!

Wish mine looked even half that clean - btw matt, what wheels are on yours? They look like the old skool BBS's that used to come on Mk2 VW Golfs....

    Vibration in 3rd/4th at 1800rpm to 3000rpm

$200 for a bearing?!! Holy living crap! Thats almost 1/5th the price of the car! O.o Will check at the motor factors though....

    Vibration in 3rd/4th at 1800rpm to 3000rpm

Yup - still the stock driveshaft. I forgot that these are 2 piece items. Can you get a new bearing on its own and how much would it cost??
