I guarantee you popped one of your couplers off. I've done that SO many times, haha. Physically wiggle all of them around. It may be off, but resting beside teh pipe so it looks ok.
That's the solenoid cycling. It's a normal(ish) noise. Mine did it before I insulated teh base from the frame. If yours just started making the noise however, it's probably a bigger problem, like there might be some debris inside of it. Try swapping the solenoid with another one to see if the...
Why would you guys compain about removnig the driveshaft? Seriously, it takes 3 minutes. 2 bolts and the driveshaft loop is off, 2 bolts, and the carrier bearing is out, and the driveshaft can be folded out of the end of teh tranny. You'll waste more time fighting with the tranny to come out...
A narrowband O2 is cheap.
You say you gapped the plugs to 30 thou, I would try lower, like 28 thou. My car never ran right if the plugs were greater then 28 thou.
You say the coils are good, but what about the connectors on the wires going to the coils? If they're damaged in ANY way...
Check the coils themselves for cracks, especially under the rubber boots. If they're cracked, seal them up with some epoxy (or even nail polish).
Check the conenctors going to the coils. If they're cracked or broken at all (like missing their locking clips), replace all 6 (they're cheap). The...
That is laggy. Decent numbers though.
Just to rub some salt in the wound, my GT40-88 hit 15psi by 4700, and did 397 :)
What are you running for injectors? Stock?
Tweeter selection is highly dependant on what you as the listener prefer. Personally, I prefer a soft dome tweeter too. I run some CDT EF61s, and wouldn't trade them for anything.
My brother runs the kappas in his car, and despite the tweeters being harsh for me, I think they sound pretty good...
The Exige is supercharged? I didn't know that.
There's a local guy with a supercharged Elise around here. A local company developed a SC kit for it. It's a bad-ass car. I got a ride in it one day, even got to drvie it around a parking lot.
To tap into power, it depends how much of a load you need. Simple stuff like gauges and stuff, I tap right off of the gauge cluster's power.
My LCD screen is tapped off of my radio, as well as my boost controller.
My wideband is tapped off of my wipers. The reason for that, it's a 20A...
Or you can find a stock head unit for a later Toyota with CD changer controls, and mod the input to an aux input. I got a free CD player from an 02 corolla one time that worked. All later Toyota head units are plug and play with the MKIII.
Well, I have some CT12A flanges I wanted made up so I could use my extra turbos on another project, but they would help if people wanted to make their own downpipes.
If you're low don't just fill it up, find out where it's leaking from so you don't have to fill it again.
Both my 91 Supra, and my 83 Celica have ice cold A/C, and to the best of my knowledge, neither has ever been recharged. (Hell, the A/C on the Celica had been disconencted for years when...
Yeah, that's messed up big time. What's your plug gap?
It's a GT40 what? 40-88, 40-82, 40-94? FWIW, my GT40-88 @15psi made 400whp, so you have something up.
