    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Don't think so. I think i can get away with mild camber. Once i lower it and throw the front fenders on, i'll be able to verify.

Lol. Two summers ago, and never on this engine. But now that i have the dash, i can start reassembling it and install the ecu/ maft pro. Then we'll see if it'll run.

This is what the front looks like, but of course its a bit difficult to gauge the fender fitment when its on jacks, and there's no fender. The rear. The coilovers are adjusted high, so that i can work under it.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

So this is what the wheel looks like on the car. I kinda held my breath when I installed it, afraid it might interfere with the shocks, but no- it's good by about a 1/2". Needs a bit of camber, but I think that's all. Tires are installed now and the wheels are on the car. Looks...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Quite a day of packages today. Also got my targa seal set and ignition harness plug from DM. AND, a new set of 18x9/18x10 wheels. The auction was dirt cheap, so I bid on it. Wasn't really expecting to win them, but surprisingly, I won on my lowest bid. Now I have to swap my tires...

The FIRST documented 4l80e 2jz-Mk3 Supra build. "56k beware"

Yeah, maybe you didn't spen $8,000... but you DID spend more than $50. And I'm not saying don't keep the stick, just keep in the car as a "BCB" stick ('Bro- be cool!') You can always pretend to prop the hood with it if it's a tradition, but if I had that kind of time, effort, money, love, and...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Got my replacement dash in today, from Ohio, via Greyhound shipping. It's not perfect, but it's way better than what I had. There's a couple of depressions in the vinyl from being stored for a few years, and I'm hoping that they'll relax out, now that there's no weight on it. Also, one very...

Anyone ever use a clutchnet disk?

To answer your question- yes I've used a Clutchnet disc, and I would recommend them. It was a 6-puck, and lasted a good long time. There was a small amount of chatter(which is common for 6-puck's), but much better than the p.o.s. stage 2 generic thing that I got off Ebay later on. I had...

    Mk3 with mk4 front cap???

Apparently, NO ONE here thinks that putting a MkIV front end on a MkIII is a good idea, mainly I suppose, because the two cars has very different/ conflicting design strategies. BUT, as already mentioned, do what you want to do, it's your car. As already mentioned, it will require heavy metal...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Fair enough. And I don't have it ready yet- still needs more adjustment, so we'll see.

Barb fitting size from FPR to return line rubber hose question

On the return line, it's 5/16. I had a 5/16 barb that had an-4 female on the other side, and I used a -6 to -4 adapter to connect my -6an fpr outlet line.

Barb fitting size from FPR to return line rubber hose question

Driftmotion sells an actual adapter that allows you to remove that last rubber hose. At least if I'm thinking of the end that you're talking about.
