    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

Have you installed them yet? I have a hard time seeing 18x10/+25's fitting within the wells. I accidentally got shipped an 18x10/+22, and at full tilt-in camber, they still stuck out about 8mm beyond the well. I had a 265 on it , and it was only barely stretched. A 245 might make it work...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

I only stuck with it because I didn't see an FFIM that I liked. Nearly every single one requires that you give up ac and/ or relocate the battery. The one that CarlosPTR210 makes, however, is appealing... but it's something I can do later on if I really want to. Besides- my power goals don't...

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Wheels are; FR500 replica's(just got em) 18x9 +30 / 18x10 +40 235/40/18 / 265/35/18 Rears fit nicely, fronts are gonna have to be cambered a bit, because 30 offset seems too aggressive.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Ha! So, got home today, and dug into my boxes: Dropped the IC pipe off for extension, should be ready Wednesday or Thursday. Received my new wheel lugs. My originals were nice, but too narrow. Needed more seating surface. They're kinda bling, but what the heck. Also...a bit of...

If you were ever wondering why it's called project "git 'er done"... I travel with him sometimes, and his motto seemed appropriate for a rebuild.

No, due to the strut position, it has zero leverage in the closed position. Yesterday, i was in Sudbury, today i'm in Thunder Bay, and tomorrow i'll be in Winnipeg. Thunder Bay. Lake frozen solid.

Well, the hatch floor cant be opened when the targa is blocking it, so it's not for that scenario. According to FedEx, my new wheel, new coil, and intercooler pipe section have arrived at the house. Just need to escape Canada, so that i can put them to use.

Nah- Got 4x4, now I need my car back on the road. So, I went back into the garage this evening, to do a bit more work. Got my weld-on mounting tab in the mail, so I put it to use. Rear hatch cover support. This is the piece that straddles the floor between the rear shock towers, and the...

LOL. Not patient, just not in too much of a hurry. But I will say that I miss driving it. I've been driving my Trooper now for a year and a half, and I'm in serious danger of becoming a 'truck guy'.
