True, but with the gearing of the Z, you will want the 6 speed. Its around a 3.3. Comparable to driving a MKIV auto with a 6 speed dif. Does the extra inch make a difference, im 6' and feel like a Z is quite comfortable.

Is it really that hard to do your own system wiring? Mine might not come out perfect, but I know what was done, if anything goes wrong I know how to fix it and I am the one to blame if it does go wrong.

If he uses the v160, he should be alot faster with BPU mods than a BPU MKIV. The dry weight on a 240z is around 2300lbs. Figure around 2900lbs with a gas, driver, 2jz-gte and a getrag, and figure 350 whp. That puts him in the low 12s high 11s with a good driver.

OK, here is the EASIEST WAY. Buy a MKIII turbo with a BHG. Buy an aristo motorset, BIC brackets, a new clutch, 1jz flywheel, 1jz r154 bellhousing and a mid/rear sump oilpan setup. Take both harnesses, box them. Send them to DrTweak along with some cash. Get everything back, PnP enjoy.

Some people don't use cruise control or air conditioning, like me. Why install something that you will never use? To the OP, it took me a few weekends to get my swap done, and I had a motor that came in an a70, without the need for a lot of wiring or body modifications.
