Been updating on SF, keep forgetting to update here. The downpipe is going to need to be a 90* turn almost right off of the vband. I need to call DM about it in an hour or so, it looks like their "7m vband downpipe"
So far I have:
got the turbo all mounted up and pretty with the BEP housing...
Time to step up and get some money for charity. Remember that this is a supra/2jz swapped meet. Please try and keep other cars to a minimum. No stupid shit (burnouts, 2 step, revving for no damn reason). Be respectful and lets turn this into a yearly event!
SF thread...
My stock twins used to push 16psi in 90* weather with intake and 3" exhaust (from the stock y pipe back). IC was stock, boost was measured at the manifold.
Still in progress:
Waiting on a wastegate part from HKS Japan. In the meantime, I will be cleaning up the body a lot. The motor will be coming out soon, then the blocksanding and coating comes.
New car looks nice! Hopefully something nice will come out of it. I still need to get my ass to one of the philly meets, hopefully I can make one in the supra this year.
Too much torque too soon. Would be more spin friendly than street friendly.
A guy on SF did something similar few years ago. IIRC he made around 400whp with stock CT20s.
