    Powercruise video on my Supra

Jay- Yep, you're right the only thing I've been adjusting is the fuel map, I'm not confident enough in my tuning ability to start messing with timing. I'll have it done professionally sometime next year after I get the new parts installed. 3" IC piping, bigger IC, true 3" exhaust, and likely a...

    Yanked a Wankel this weekend...

Lol, I remember that odd sized bolt. Couldn't figure out why they would use such an odd size, but there has to be a reason toolmakers put it in the kit, right? ;)

Is this how I upgrade to a 57 trim for my ct26?

The whole deal is that with larger OD tires, the stock trans shifts from 3rd to 4th/OD (or 4th to 5th) so often that it burns the clutch packs out. The solution is different gears for the differentials to bring it back into the rpm ranges the ECU wants to see so it doesn't hunt gears. The...

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

If I end up buying Jeremy's stuff I will be swimming in R154's here so I will likely be willing to vent one in a crispylicks direction heh heh

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

*New, used. RacerXJ220 had it all. Not sure what I'm going to do with the old one quite yet. Might tear it down and inspect it, might be jumping on that Speed-for-sale trans rebuild sale if I don't feel like measuring everything(plus the MC goodies), and might be rebuilding it myself. Heck, I...

    Mind boggling tranny issue

Couple things come to mind right away 1- What cluth/PP are you using? How old is it? 2- Did you take the throwout bearing off of the pressure plate/were the washers reinstalled properly if it was? 3- Any excessive crankshaft movement when the noise occurs? (thrust bearing wear)

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

How big is the core on yours? I have a 3" now, but would like a 4". Also trying to find out if bar/plate or tube/fin would suit what I plan on doing better than the other. In other news, I ordered a new transmission and driveshaft, should be here sometime next week! No more missed 2nd or 3rd...

    Yanked a Wankel this weekend...

Lol, its basically an oil cooled engine- the coolant does little for the keg. Why'd ya pull toe oil cooler out? Could've just unbolted the banjo bolts... :p The car I rode in before I did up the Supra was a 1990 N/A- ran an 11...

    mk4 89+ Motor mounts question

^This. The tab isn't a big deal, just cho it off with a hacksaw and never break a round mount again.

    Bushing Information

If they include removal of the old seized cam bolts (need to sawzall the out, what a pita that is), its not a terrible price. I'd probably quote you something similar if I didn't know if the bolts were seized. They're not all that hard to install, but i have a lot of specialty tools that make...

    mk4 89+ Motor mounts question

I am successfully using mk4 mounts in my 91 with 89+ brackets. Not sure if anything else would work. Noteworthy, the engine becomes much more stable in the bay, but it a bi*** to install.

Is this how I upgrade to a 57 trim for my ct26?

I'll agree with the 'big tires kill stock transmissions' arguement, I've seen it myself. I don't like the turbo wheel install. He has a pretty good discussion on the HG failures of the 6.0's and how people ignore the signs and bitch when the engine gets fubar.
