yeah and the 57 doesn't flow a very high volume you could hit the same hp with a bigger tubo at like 13 or 14 psi
my next upgrade is I'm going t4 and getting a precision 6262
so I can easily hit 400 but the turbo is good for 6-700 so I can just turn it up if I want
and t4 and t3 turbos you'll easily get tht an they're universal turbos so you won't have get "mk3" specific parts or "ct26" specific parts
but if you don't care to much about quality and don't want to spend the money get a 60-1 turbo from cxracing for the mk3 that'll do it
and for a 57 trim...
you could try getting the boss bolt on that supras port sells or look at sound performance and they sell bolt on precision turbos but you won't get as much power or the spool as you would from a t4..
it's hard to get past 400 on a stock motor with those upgrades unless you have one hell of a...
you'll still hit fuel cut unless you still get something like an fcd but with the supporting mods it will raise your fuel cut. it's not measured by psi but by the volume of air coming in.
go for it man
much apreciated if you figure out what it is just let me know
I'm
gonna do a compression test etc next weekend to see why I'm burning oil
I hate burning oil man it's like the worst symptom to many things can cause the same damn thing lol

and how about if my car seems to hesitate when the vaccum is between -15 to -10? like barely
giving it throttle to cruise it has like a slight jerk like a boost leak kinda weird
haha really?
I was hoping that if it did end up being the turbo I could call Aaron at dm and see if he will rebuild it only charging me for parts since it's got such low miles and already went out
not that you can tell by just looking but from working on my car and how well it ran before this
only has 80xxx miles on it
I'm guessing the entire bottom end was also rebuilt by the previous owner ? all vaccum lines are blue silicon and bottom end looks like all the seals have been replaced...
engine-original but had hg and whole top end rebuilt last summer
turbo-57 trim has a little over 1000 miles on it
about a couple
months ago I put new injectors in and one of them got stuck wide open and flooded my cylinder so I sent it back to get flow tested and fixed out it back in and did an...

so my 87 it's burning oil randomly but not a lot. it doesn't do it right after start up like valve stems would sometimes it does on start up some times it does on accel and sometimes it does on decel and it does on boost it's doesnt sound like valve stems but could be a valve? also when vaccum...
yeah idk I've tried tapping the outside of the car all over the place that doesn't seem to effect it but if the doors are locked it goes off by itself..and I mean just randomly when nothing is touching it..but if just the drivers side or passenger side is locked it doesn't effect it
ill give it...
my alarm works but for some reason it likes to go off by itself only if the doors are locked..if they are locked it just randomly goes off at times and then stops so I don't lock the doors anymore
if they aren't locked no problem not exactly sure what it is or if I have a short somewhere?
I have an apexi and 550s lexus afm 57 trim exhaust
got it tuned and the guy street tuned it and set the throttles at 10% low throttle
80% high throttle
when I wanna boost I have to floor it theres like this inbetween range in the pedal where if I barely press is like normal to just go or...
