You really dont have to worry about lag on a 1JZ til you get into the 72+mm territory. Honestly a GT4067R is all around one of the best turbos ever made for street use

PS, a turboXS evo 8 BOV kit is a direct fit for the 1JZ. I had one on my 93 before i sold it. Plug and play minus making an intake block off.

350-400whp on pump gas is DAM easy... Im doing 400whp on 12psi on my 1JZ with a PT40-88.

Toyota put it on the turbo side of the 1jz, 2jz, 3sgte, whatever... Dodge put it on the turbo side of the srt4..

I can make you a block off plate with a soda can and 30 seconds with a pair of snips.

The BOV is located right off the turbo outlets for better performance.
