Hey , can anyone explain to me to proper process of connecting an aftermarket BOV to a stock system (as my stocker has gone bad). I have an SSQV but i do not know exactly how i should go abouts installing it. Is there any adjustments to be made etc. Let me know, thanks!

Did you get one of the 1J HKS kits? One replaces the stock location BOV and the other replaced the IC pipe right off the throttle body(I've seen both). Do you have one of those two? If not, just have your BOV welded on a pipe just like any other install and put it wherever you like it. If your stock one is broken have a block off plate made or get another stock one.

2.5 twin turbo- twin BOV:naughty:...

No. Only reason people do it is because they don't have anything to block off the stock BOV. You can't just get a rubber cap like a 7M. Well, one side you can, but the other side needs a block off plate which isn't as easy to get as a rubber cap, obviously. The stock one will almost never vent if you have an aftermarket one hooked up.

Or, some of the BOV kits just replace the stock BOV at the same location.

That's what I was mentioning in my first post. HKs made a kit that replaces the stock BOV and another that replaces the rubber hose that connects to the throttle body.

Up until recently, I was running a setup like this.

The ARC that replaces the stock BOV isn't actually hooked up but it has an integrated block off plate so I could remove the stock BOV. The HKS on the throttle body pipe was the working one. I sold the HKS though 'cause it's really annoying to me and just put the stock one back on... It's not as fragile as the stock 7M one and will be ok for now.
