well our 7mge's hg went, and i took off the acis can (dont know the actual term for it) and it rattled like something was inside of it. is this normal? i dont imagine it is. i also have another acis can it also rattled so idn. if someone could tell me this is normal or not, id greatly...

old thread i know, but have a question related. will a brake system with abs work, if the master cylinder is for a system w/o abs? im not to worried about the abs itself, just if the brake system will work. online tsrm has a mc w/ abs and a mc w/o abs.

as the title says. i drained the tank to get rid of old gas, put some more in it, got the car running, but the plug is leaky. its not a steady stream but i can put my finger on the plug and come up with a damp finger. i tried tightening it but still leaks. can i put some sort of sealant around...

just to follow this up, in the case someone searches similar symptoms, the reason my car would run was a bad ecu

ok took the altnator to stealerzone, they tested it, and it was bad. luckily i saved the one from the original motor from the car and took it to autozone also to check. this one passed. i also bought a new alt fuse. woohoo! running car! now just need to unlock that brake so i can drive it!

the smoke went away after i let off the throttle, then once i reved it up again it wasnt there. i reved up higher and more started to come out. i think its just from the engine sitting for the year ive had it plus whatever it was sitting from the people i got it from. only time and more...
