They pop up from time to time you just need to be ready with the $$$ LMAO yep and it'll decimate all! ;) Just the plain Jane 044 but I got a SpeedFlo -6 Check valve for it and Filter Sock fitting from Jays racing.

HUGE potential 2JZ swap (4 months from 12 May out from 600rwhp)

NGK PowerDex? If so the analogue output just needs to talk to the ECU as a 0>5v signal then the ECU applies this to a table to read out as either Lambda or AFR. I ran this set up last year.

    Oil Pump Question

It's open all the time. I don't do the prelube thing at all. The filters I use have an antidrainback valve so the second the pump turns you have flow and shortly after pressure. You can get a solenoid valve and activate this on shut down and startup but I'm lazy ;) I have mine for...

The stock Oil cooler system is junk for a high Hp 7m and needs to be replaced. Forget the 2 Step until you have the rest sorted. You're talking like a 600rwhp 7M is easy to do, trust me it's not if you want it to last more than a month at a time.

    Oil Pump Question

About $300 from memory, mine is set up Dumb no "activation" as such and just sits there charged waiting for any drop in pressure then pumps it's load back into the Main gallery. Sorry no pics but it's mounted on the rail under the intake (may not work for a LHD car though)

For 600rwhp chuck the stock Oil Cooler, Block adaptor and lines in the bin and do it properly.

a1000 IS the cheap route....... This is the LAST place you want to try and save $$$ as the potential for total failure is so damn high if the fuel system falls over during a power run.

    Oil Pump Question

Yep by the time I grab a billet hog it out and have it anodised it's just not cost effective as I can't afford to pay me my hourly rate ;)

Use the a1000 and it's companion Filter then ;) It will cover your goals nicely. I'm using a pair of Bosch MS filters.

    Oil Pump Question

Hence my use of the Canton parts ;) (It wasn't worth my time to draw a part and fire up my CNC for what they cost)

    Oil Pump Question

They look to be cast from Zamak and it's NOT the strongest material they could have chosen. Also seen them split the fitting bosses when people have tried to tighten the tapered pipe threads.

Both my pumps will be on under boost with the Denso filling any shortfalls by the 044. I'm shooting for 600 max here but want to have plenty of overhead. The Denso is for off boost cruising as my car is dead quiet at highway speeds and a noisy pump would drive me bugshit. (spent the last 8...

    Oil Pump Question

I broke the Adaptor that screws onto the block in half when I was removing it for an unrelated rebuild.

    LMAO @ the 044 being quiet!! I'm using a 300lph Denso as a primary and a 044 in tank boost activated :)

    Oil Pump Question

Grant: How much is your motor worth to you? ;) I don't have a total on the parts but everything is readily available. You can save a few $$$ buying permacool/transdapt parts and they work fine but aren't "servicable" ie: the tend to break if you have to unbolt them.
