    The Upper Compression Grommet is I guess to allow for a greater tolerence in lengths on the stock injectors.

    Problem with the stock arms is just when you get the thing to hook up they bend ;) Not ever going to be a problem with the SS arms trust me!

    I'd drain ALL the coolant change the Oil with some cheap oil crank it with the EFI fuse pulled to clear out the contaminated Oil then drain it again and DON'T run it till repaired.

    Bigger danger is running it with coolant/oil mix and trashing the bearings shortly followed by Rod Knock.

    New RC's have a plastic shim instead of the stock rubber compression grommet.
