Nah you shouldn't have to remove much to make them fit. Just be sure to break any sharp edges with a file or a stone/sandpaper to prevent stress risers. They live in Oil so rust isn't an issue, I'd smear em with the Moly just in case there's any delay in starting it.

If it were me I'd grad a m12x1.25 bolt chuck it in the Lathe spin a couple of nuts on and turn the Diameter down enough to fit. I'm not sure of you have access to a machine shop, the guy that did the head will probably have a Lathe though.

Went for a cruise on Eastlink after the dyno Monday and when we got to the tunnel the "Pushtruck" was mobile and managed to almost cause 2 accidents totally ignoring any and all road rules...... "Official" people don't seem to have to obey laws like us normal people....
