It's one of those nasty PITA Mk3 jobs that you don't want to have to do again and at least with both cable sections replaced you can rest in peace knowing the Cluster doesn't have to come out again ;)
TEMS and Cruise both rely on a Reed switch on the back of the Speedo for the Speed signal so if the Speedo's jumping neither are going to operate correctly.
Personally I'd buy both cable sections and replace then ignore it for another 20 years. ;)
And totally destroy one of the best features of the Mk3.....
There is a HUGE amount of math involved in a rocker suspension it's not something you build in the backyard with cardboard and a mig.....
Fuck guys I know you're trying to help but if you don't have accurate information DON'T post in the tech section....
ARP studs use Nuts that are 9/16" 12 point and you'll need a thinwall socket.
The Allen head socket in the Stud is 5mm.
ARP Bolts are 1/2" 12 point

If I'd known he was running the Supra I'd have gone up for the event and said hi (he's related to a friend here).
I'll have to remember for Fathers Day next year.
From memory (been awhile since I've had stock fittment springs) the rears are reduced diameter near the lower mount for clearence so small diameter coilovers don't help a lot.
Any linkage design is going to be all custom and doesn't really apply to the Mk3 unless you're willing to totally...
It's basic physics
PMoI aka Polar Moment of Inertia.
3" shaft is very different to say a flywheel.
I doubt you'd be able to measure a power difference between Steel and Aluminium.
The 2 piece shaft is done to keep the shaft's critical speed well below and danger point.
