Clutch Fan Was Locked - Need Input

Bugger all Vas, I use the MoTeC to run mine but DC make a controller. There's some pics in my pic thread showing how I mounted it but it will depend on the IC pipe routing your car uses.

    how is everyone??

I can be a total and utter knob at times but this wasn't one of em :icon_razz Reading is good :D It's also a good idea to study what the GroupA guys did back in the day as much of it applies to our cars today. (never saw a GrpA with an STB) Just trying to help stamp out more SupraMyths ;)

    how is everyone??

Shen: No probs I'm NOT trying to start shit it's just basic engineering. Think of the force vectors and how you need to design something to counteract them.

Ummm in summer peak hour traffic I can have the AC on high and the car is on the TStat :)

Yep going fast you tend to only scan the gauge for needle position anyway so knowing the exact number doesn't add anything. I don't have a boost gauge at all as people tend to get really hung up on numbers and I can freak myself out badly enough with 7M paranoia without one :D

    how is everyone??

Shen: Our cars ARE double a-arm/wishbone, STB's are appliciable to McPherson Strut suspension where the towers are load bearing in cornering, ourws aren't all they do is support the spring loads nothing to do with cornering. If you look at most STB's they're designed to be easily unbolted and...

I use the stock gauge as a "near enough indicator" ;) I know what's "normal" and if it deviates high or low I know to check the engine. I base this on what the MoTeC has told me is actually "normal", not all that fussed about gauges in general as I've found once I got over 400rwhp there's...

When it's all working right and all the plastics are in play at highway speeds it should run on the T Stat opening ie: if it's an 88c t-stat it'll climb to 90/91c open and drop to 87.5c then repeat :)

Some questions about the suspension, need your opinion

17 feet of travel and uprated bars will tend to tear the tabs off at times. (slight exaggeration) I have short stroked shocks and whiteline bars on stock 86.5 end links and tabs and have never had a failure in 11 years of abuse.
