Thanks Dumbo, I knew I was sort of close but didn't want to get slammed for posting incorrect info as fact (not an EE)

no oil pressure on fresh rebuild.....!UPDATED...AGAIN...with pics!

Yes as the voltage goes down the load on the starter goes up and it'll get hot as it pulls more current. (this may not be exactly correct but that's the end effect) ;)

Questions on differences between 7M-GTE and 7M-GE.

Possibly 92>93 depends on when they stopped casting them, you could get a 93 A70 in Japan. I just call it a 93 ;)

10.5 inch wide wheels on MA70?

I'd go for a combination that fits the car, if I wanted straight line traction I'd choose smaller diameter wheels and taller profile tires (length of the contact patch is more important than width) Looking at your location you would ;) Say hi to Batman for me......

More than you'll ever make.... The block is +2mm just about everywhere, I posted a bunch of direct comparison pics between an 87 and my new 93 blocks.

    A little FFIM project!

I played around with runner's as well :) 40mm to I believe 160mm long from memory, had quite an effect on the torque curve and I juggled the 2 to come up with an intake that suited my combination. It was an interesting exercise but very time consuming and if I had to pay it would have been...

no oil pressure on fresh rebuild.....!UPDATED...AGAIN...with pics!

No plugs/TB open there's little to no load on the starter it would probably spin the engine for 5 minutes without getting hot :) (a spare charged battery and leads is a good idea so voltage doesn't drop) You'll hear some load as the Oil system fills, soon as you see pressure refit the plugs...

    A little FFIM project!

I found the really big ass plenum helped reduce the wheelspin issues I had back then on the 3540r.

LOL Tard! Pull the plugs open the TB and crank for 50>60 seconds then give it a short break and hit it again. Our starters are quite sturdy I used to use mine to move the car when it wasn't running when it had a manual trans.

Another Drifter build... (lot`s of pics)

Boost is going to hit hardNfast with that small a plenum volume.

Width doesn't do a whole lot for straight line traction ;)
