Might just be as simple as you're out flowing the breather on the Vented cap.

Yep as above it's a system if you can pull extra heat anywhere it will help the coolant load, even more so with a GTE + Squirters as it aids the transfer from the underside of the piston crowns.
I had mine coated in a thermal dispersant coating to help out.
