We all know that the Supra's oil cooling system is crap, but can it have an affect on the engine's water(coolant) system as well?
Oil of course takes longer to heat up,and retain heat, but can this keep the coolant system from being efficient?
From what I understanhd, the 7MGTE's oil system is pressure based vs temerature.

I'm planning on getting all the parts to upgrade the oil cooling system, just curious if by removing more heat from the oil, that might reduce temps in the block, and thusly the coolant system.

Yep as above it's a system if you can pull extra heat anywhere it will help the coolant load, even more so with a GTE + Squirters as it aids the transfer from the underside of the piston crowns.

I had mine coated in a thermal dispersant coating to help out.
