Just go at it gently and slowly it's not difficult just fiddly.
I undo the steering column under the dash and let it hang down to make it easier.
Baggies for the screws help as well.
Guy might have just been trying to catch up for a look and fucked up missing a gear...
Old guys are usually smart enough not to play ricer games unless they are 99% sure of winning, the instant back down doesn't point to this being the case.
NOT EVERYONE IS A RACER...
And not everything...
Probably thought you were a total fuckwit behaving like that....
I'm into fast cars and would have thought the same (and have done) if a kid pulled that shit next to me.
He's a man with his wife, not everyone with a "sports car" is a racer grow up.
There's a small data plate riveted to the case.
I don't run a lot of HP it's more the torque I'm concerned about.
You could possibly do it with a couple of diodes and some way to signal a change of state using the SSv4 but yes the PCS has a shift cut channel.
Sorry Chris reading>me this time....
Missed that you're currently NA,
I'd hunt downb an Auto GTE harness and use that it'll be simpler in the long run.
Early cars used a universal harness that would do both manual and auto later ones went seperate.
Shift cut and unlocking the converter on shifts "should" remove the shock loads on the sprags <fingers crossed>
I don't think I'll make enough power to tear up parts just on torque so it should be cool.
Yep that's why I'll shift cut the 1>2 change now as well, very interested to see what condition it's in when I tear it down as in the old days (last time I used an auto behind a turbo car back in the 80's) I had huge problems getting them to live.
That's why I was using the Tremec this time...
