Need to figure out why it's leaking, as you pull it all apart can you take some flash macro pics as you go?
Only thing I can think of at the moment is the spring escaped somehow as you installed the seal.
Done it in the past when one wasn't available, longer time for the rings to get an initial seal was about the only difference I noted, keep it in mind the factory don't use one and people make good HP on stock unopened engines the 2J's in particular.
That's why I'd like to see the internals they will usually provide a clue why they're dying, no way known would I be throwing another Turbo at it at this point though, 1 shit happens, 2 something is suspect, 3 STOP you're doing it wrong ;)
Did you do a return volume check?
(Idle with the...
No probs :)
Notice a total lack of front placebo bar??
Double a arm isn't trying to cope with turning loads like a McWobbly Strut front end so they're just not needed, the common bars have a pivot right at the force vector turning them into a big ass hinge so utterly useless.
We covered...
I don't drag either so not offended in the slightest, but that does make you sound like a bit of a cockhead so expect some flack from the drag racers here.
Do a search on the Group A race cars if you want to see braces that actually work ;)
(I don't run any as I don't believe extra chassis stiffness is needed on road tires)
More pics here.
Double A Arm car, plot the force vectors then tell me how a normal strut bar does anything and I'll be convinced.
The braces back to the firewall are bolted into the .9mm sheetmetal and again are just pivots so nope can't see them adding any measurable stiffness to the structure.
Mine scared the crap out of me when I first got it as I'd come from a 700Kg 77Arrow that handled like it was on rails to this big fat wallowing bucket :)
