Why bother? There's NOTHING wrong with the stock bolts as long as they're torqued properly.

Happens more often that you'd expect :( A lot of times how they're fitted makes the difference, an old old school guy taught me to get them in with the minimal amount of hits possible as a lot of small taps removes the crush fit. I have one of those they're great fun, you won't regret...

Another factor to keep in mind is the 2.0mm stoppers are all 86mm bore gaskets ;)

Are you running the GE Clutch with the matched 7 blade fan? It might "work" but could be the difference on a car with a marginal cooling system, clogged rad blocked with leaves and bugs AC Condensor.... With the potential for cooling system disasters+7M I wouldn't risk it but that's just me.

Make sure you match the Clutch/Blades as the GE uses a 7 blade fan and a clutch that's softer than the one for the GTE 10 blade. (GE clutch=Blue, GTE= Brown/Orange)

Pretty well always do a preheat on parts I paint unless it's summer here then cooling them down is in order ;)

Clutch needs to be bolted to the flywheel AFTER you slide the box in and bolt it to the engine.... Check the TRSM for the correct procedure.

Have someone push down on the hood while you pull the cable..... Make sure they don't go all rockape and dent it though just firm pressure will do the trick.

Could always put a Cap and a Diode on the Fan's relay to keep them active for xx minutes based on how big a cap you use?

Could probably either use Helicoils or Keenserts to add threads to pre89 Starters to make life easier. I used to use a bunch of extensions and drop the rear mount and go in over the trans case up in the tunnel.
