Surprising amount of room up above the glovebox top cover, I had at one time an M800 MoTeC, a PCS Trans Controller, a 816 MoTeC Expander and a MoTeC G Sensor up there ;)
I made a 4mm Al plate and HookNlooped the components to it then used the Glovebox striker plate screws and the rear...
No such thing as "7m Clevite bearings" they'll be reboxed brand xx bearings depending on what is available as Clevite stopped making them a few years back.
Crack Thread...... :nono:
(the drug NOT the broken pistons crack...)
"Semi Forged"?? WTF..
"Cracked all 6" IS a tune/fuel issue
"Bad Batch" Not likely as a "Batch" for these guys is probably 10000+ units if this were the case it'd be a well known failure issue.
Detonate an engine...
As I posted earlier the Composite will be fine at those power levels as long as you keep it out of detonation, 1 rattle will end in a bad day..
I tend to tune safe so wouldn't have any concerns I also maintain my cars well so that removes another possibilty of rattle from a dirty fuel filter...
At cruise/idle the injector pulsewidth is tiny with large injectors if you're not slowing the pump under these conditions you're returning a huge volume of fuel to the tank and constantly recirculating it through the Hot engine bay and Rail means it has to heatsoak Trevor.
If I were to use a...
The time you both took to post "search" could have been spent actually helping the guy..... :nono:
This isn't SF don't pull this shit again.
OP: If $ isn't a factor I'd personally go 2J every time as the Mk3 is a fat bitch and the extra 500cc makes a difference in day to day driving.
Stock the pistons are 20 thou out of the hole at TDC, you've added another 20 with the block being decked, I'd be getting concerned at this point as while a 7M is a non interfernece engine that quickly changes as you change things and even if the valves don't touch the pistons now what happens...
It did but the flow back was minimal due to be able to change the pump speeds/volumes, running the pumps uncontrolled would heatsoak the entire tankfull in about an hour and a half of freeway driving to the point the tank was hot to touch and this threw the fuel mapping out at idle and around...
My last setup was dual Denso uprated mk4 style pumps and I had them controlled by the ecu with each having it's own off/on/speed all based on demand/boost, I ran them in the 115L tank in a baffled area with fuel tanks foam surrounding them, 0 surge issues and it made heatsoak a non issue.
