    Nope never used them, got a link/pic? A good "indicator" to heat on Al is rub some soap on the Al near where you're heating, if the soap turns black it's TOO HOT and is now T0 (annealed)

    Maybe find a couple of cheap aftermarket BJ's the right size and use their boots? Never seen any aftermarket stuff to Mk3 Uppers only new arms from Toyota due to the design, a thing to consider is they're forged heat treated aluminium so you need to be VERY careful if burning out the old...

    HUGE differemce in using Meth as a Bandaid and being "Tuned" to run with Meth, the former means you're just sloshing a bunch of Meth in to ward off Detonation and accepting the outyput of the engine for what it is, tuned by comparison means the Meth becomes a part of the WOT AFR and any change...

    Do you still have the Oil hole in the beam of the Rods Nash? (it sprays onto the thrust side then from the Oil rings into the wrist pins. The "Squirters" have nothing to do with wrist pin oiling.
