I dont believe there are any replaceable seals in the actuator, in fact Im pretty sure you cant take it apart at all. Its basically a diaphram in a can. I would be guessing but I doubt they are terribly expensive.

You do realize you have to pull the motor and disassemble to properly do a MHG right?

It could have been bound up. Does it look all coroded and nasty? My guess however is that you had a bad seal on the pressure signal line and pulling it and inspecting it and replacing it got a seal. If it was a sticky actuator its likely to do it again.

I too agree the proposed penalty is seriously lacking in severity. The man essentially destroyed 7 lives and was at least indirectly responsible for one death. No punishment could be severe enough to satisfy me.

I dont know, for some reason I havent enjoyed any of the Kevin Smith movies past "Chasing Amy". ClerksII had some good moments but was a bit over the top for me. Sometimes making it in Hollywood is a BAD thing for a writer director.
