so all of your dash lights turn off when you turn the exterior lights on? replace the dimmer rheostat, and be happy. if it's unplugged, the same thing will happen. if it's dead, it'll happen. -shaeff

it seems that if you could get a pump to actually move a 90 weight gear oil, the next step would be trying to force it through an oil cooler. i bet you'd have to get a cooler with not only large ins and outs, but also large enough passages to flow a thick oil. -shaeff

i'd wash it lightly, then use a high powered vacuum cleaner with a CLEAN bristle end to massage the dirt out. :) -shaeff

heh, i have a great pioneer deck ($500 new) that i never listen to in the supra. it sure does look pretty, though. ;) -shaeff

heh, i have a kill switch in one of mine. it's not wired up yet, though. :) my 86.5 had a blank plate in it. that annoyed the crap out of me! i picked up a few coin holders from junkyards, which now house a kill switch, (won't say what that kill switch is for;)) and i dont keep coins in them...

i check my oil every time i drive the car, sometimes twice. also, when i pulled my motor apart to check everything out, i lowered the pickup further into the pan. :) -shaeff

studs dont have to overcome the friction of the block to be torqued. you get a better torque reading off them, and they're stronger, and supposedly dont need to re-torque them, although i'll be checking mine in a week or so... call your local toyota dealer, or contact jeff @ champion toyota...

JDM motors do NOT have more power than USDM motors. the AICS system is discussed in great detail over on www.mkiiitech.com i believe that dr. jonez had the N/A intake manifold on one of his cars, and decided it's not worth the "gains." (maybe it was dean marcum?) anyway... -shaeff

i'd keep it too. you'll probably get an extra $4k, TOPS. that's not alot of money... -shaeff
