I wanted the durability of a cast manifold, not that the stainless ones are not durable, but there is a reason most oem manifolds are cast. I think the tubular might actually flow a little better then the cast log style but with a t04 outlet the flow should not be a problem.

When the time comes let me know, weddings need a year of planing, but engine swaps don't. :icon_wink

On the wiring subject, I really don't see how making an entire engine harness for a standalone would be easier then wiring up a few body connectors on a stock mk4 harness. A standalone will be a lot more work unless you can get a complete prewired harness. All it takes is buying the dealer...

The 7m manifolds are pretty nice and we will warranty them for a year. It is a t4 manifold and you need an external wastegate. Like Figgie said, the total cost after buying all the parts needed will be $1000 or more depending on what turbo you run. We do have a HKS style wastegate that fits that...

Whichever one you get is far better then not having one. They are all accurate. I think a wideband should be one of the first things purchased for any modified turbocharged car!

You need to get a thin wall 12pt socket. You might have to get a 3/8 drive socket and put a 1/2" adaptor on it.

Still have some things to finish up and some adjustments to be made but the intercooler is in place.
