AFM! find a guy near you with one that works and swap it out to see if thats your problem. sounds EXACTLY like its your AFM. fuel pumps are the same btw.

you can try tightening down your BOV a litttle more to try to help the stalling problem.

sort of, the GE block has one knock sensor in the middle side of the block and the GTE has two knock sensors, one towards the front on the side of the block and the other towards the back on the side of the block. the area in the middle where the GE had its knock sensor is unused on the GTE block.

remember to replace that gasket, or if you want to reuse it make sure the drain bolt isnt leaking!

shimming the wastegate probably causes some premature wastegate failure. how many people that shim the waste gate though plan on keeping the stock turbo, or switching to some type of boost controller in the future? i have about 4 or 5 shims which has raised the boost to ~10 pounds. its...

:werd: im under the impression that our computers RARELY fail. and if it is throwing out codes and what not, that is a further indication that the computer is not at fault.

i ripped off the upper black portion of my shifter and threaded the remaining stick. the diameter is too small, so i picked up a small pipe, size guaged by eye to make an adaptor out of. it works great. no more weird noises, no shift knob getting loose.... only downside is that my adaptor...

its NOT an oil pressure sender plug. the OP sender uses a single wire spade connector.
