    drjonez drilled out his stock rail for dual feed, center return. he might have pics up on www.4cefed.com . i don't think the inside diameter of his rail was increased, but i know for a fact that he had dual feed on the sides, and center return. -shaeff

    no. having it at 0* is going to make the car run like a bag of crap. that's only the base timing you're talking about. (cams and crank). we're talking about ignition timing. just listen to mkiiiman089. he's spot on. -shaeff

    origionally i had thought the same thing, but upon practicing on scraps of wire before delving into my wiring harness, i feel that i use no more solder than is absolutely necessary. all my joints are nice and shiny, and show each strand of wire through the solder. i ran an ohm meter from end...

    i run the same on mk4 rims, 275/40/r17 rear, and 255/40/r17 front. slight rubbing on full lock, but i adjusted the bump stops to compensate. i'm lowered on konis/eibachs, and still on stock sway bars. my car sticks to the road like glue, and i love it! they're a great tire for sure! -shaeff

    it runs like a dream with the throttle held at about 1krpm. it'll stay like that all day long, but there are other issues to work out. (timing, and a fitting on the block seeping oil) -shaeff
