break the stick in two, take the top half to the hardware store, get the correct size die, cut threads in the lower part (you have to cut it a little shorter- many people don't like it that short) or- weld the stock threads back on top. :) -shaeff

it's not the KS that's bad- it's the wiring. ;) and yes, that would make it run badly. -shaeff

i like to finish jobs that i start. :) there was more than minor scoring on the crank- there was a full half moon indent from the key slipping out and getting crushed into the actual end of the crank, right next to the keyway. i put the key in, and filled the hole around it with the epoxy...

very nice! :) i'm not a fan of the black top on the red car, as it makes it look too much like a 240, but it's nice none-the-less. btw, you've got a PM. :) -shaeff

yep, the epoxy is holding fine. will- the thing about it is that after i adjusted the IGN timing, it smoothed out the idle so much! it sounded identical to my car! then as soon as i drove it, something decided to shit itself. i have yet to figure that one out, though. all in time. :) -shaeff

sure is. i'm not quite sure what went wrong with it, either. as soon as i set the IGN timing, it was idling PERFECTLY. i took it down the road, ran beautifully- no hesitation at all, nice and clean feeling. then it just started to run like shit. :( i'm sure i'll get that figured out. it feels...
