and with regards to being a pre 89.5 or + does the block have squirters? if not... then she's an 86-89.5 block i have seen 89's with squirters and 6m crank also.. (89.5.. has this actually been clarified yet... when the crank change was "actually" made?)

well... i would get that thermostat back in there all you are really doing with no thermostat is constantly running the same temperature water thru the whole system and it's not getting a chance too cool long enough i would think the fans coming on at 155 is ok... just try a thermostat back...

i bet the fan isn't flowing enuf... had the same problem... i even had to put two (admittedly 10") on there, and added two stock air con fans.. and still did it LOL... once i ripped them off and stuck the clutch fan back on mine was awesome just try the clutch fan again and see what happens :)

well... tomorrow i'm gonna jump the two knock sensors together on the engine side and see what happens.. i temporarily jumped them at the ecu but they weren't secure... altho it did look promising.. the light didn't come on till 3500rpm..not sure if the wire lost connection and that's why the...

well... that may be... but LOL since then we've changed harnesses as well... and actual circuit seems to check out what resistance or voltage should i be getting if i check the ecu end of the knock sensor wires? also i jumpered the knock sensors together and this time it took till...

LOL yea i used coax cable, like the stuff for tvs and such :)

safc2's are both installed correctly... both cars were fine with it installed... problems started when safc2 was initialised i set everything by the book for the 1.5j.. purple wire is not even connected i did get given a good idea by ma70.. see if the tacho wire was close to the ks wires...

oh LOL hmm k.. do you get all those options too? i actually need this info for the c/f wings as well... do 86-92 get electric antenna? or only 89+? here only 89+ get the elec antenna head light washer/cleaners... i wish lol.. we don't get them here but yea rear foglights we don't get either

well.. i finally received the supra manuals today... body and chassis for the ma70 for jan 1986 7mge 7mgte engine repair manual for aug 1987 found out they are uk manuals... but guess what else is in them which i don't think is easy to find the pre 89 electrical wiring diagrams :D...

oh god.. sorry i forgot one very important thing this is on a godly 1jz LOL we're using safc2's and went via the book for installs, both on the 1j and 2j and on the 1j the purple wire is not even connected... not too sure bout the 2jz thanks :)

ok... if one of you can solve my code 52 you can have the choice of having one of these two badges i have front grill or 86-88 rear so here we go get code... any time any way... go above 2500rpm it pops on did rewire... done all correctly, proper earths, no shorts etc didn't...

i suddenly remembered what happened..... i remember when undoing the cams a while back the torque values for the caps were all over the place, tight, tight as a muther, medium, looser etc now have that in the car, heat up that cam.. it's gonna mould to that shape after a while ain't it so...

yea we're doing the clearance thing at the mo... i've made a thread in general discussion bout it :)

well we played shuffle the shims and set them to .015 & .020... warmed the car up today took it for a drive etc bought it back... yes i know you should check clearances cold... but we checked them anyway out of curiosity... one shim that was .015 was .027 warm should the clearances tighten...
